Smiles and winks were exchanged
And sly little gestures.
The eyes communicated far more
Than was possible with words.
Hearts fluttered and glances lasted;
Blushes swept in slowly.
Hands were held feverishly and arms
Were thrown carelessly around necks.
A little and large universe
Entirely personal, entirely theirs
Of twinkling tears and meaningful laughs
Was created, right before The Big Bang.
This Big Bang did not create life.
Quite the opposite. Graves
And wreaths were courted by rain,
As shrieking dreams drowned brutally.
